Insert Padding in a Bikini Top | 4 Easy Steps with Pic!

Moonstone Swim is passionate about ocean conservation! We take pride in sourcing sustainable materials so we can help keep harmful waste from the ocean. Because of this mindset, we are particular in the materials we choose to use. So far, we have yet to be impressed by a padding insert that meets our standards and chose to create our swimwear collection without padding.

Still, we want to make sure every soul has the opportunity to wear and feel comfortable in our swimwear styles! All Moonstone Swim bikini tops have padding slits so you can easily add inserts for comfort and support. Let's all admit, we all have old bras and bikini tops pushed to the back of our drawers. These tops usually have padding inserts that are totally reusable and easy to insert!

You can also make a difference for the planet by simply reusing these padding inserts. It keeps them out of the ocean and landfills. It is also a super easy process that can be done in less than 5 minutes. There is no reason to be intimidated, just follow these 4 simple steps:

1. Determine the correct padding shape for your bikini top. It is important to find the right shape so that the padding lines are not exposed.

2.  Next, roll the padding insert up as tightly as possible.  The tighter the padding is rolled, the easier it will be to insert in the garment.

3.  Once the padding is rolled, begin to twist it into the garment's padding slit.  If you are using a top without a padding slit, you can easily create your own!

4.  Once the padding is completely inside, adjust it to the right position.  Make sure the padding insert is facing the correct way!

It is as easy as that!  Adding padding into a garment top can be done in 4 simple steps.  You can easily create extra coverage, lift, and support in just a less than 5 minutes by reusing your extra padding inserts!  We hoped this tutorial was helpful and are here to answer any questions.  What tutorials would you like to see next on our blog?  Comment below!
